Color is the first thing anyone notices about a program's brand. Pick one dominant color and one accent, then commit to both across every piece of apparel you order.

Programs that look sharp on the court pick two colors that contrast well: navy and gold, black and orange, royal blue and white. Everything from practice tanks to tournament warm-up hoodies uses the same pair.

Color combinations that photograph well and stand out in the gym:

Heavier font weight always reads better on athletic gear. A 100-weight font disappears against a dark tank. A 700 or 800-weight font reads across the gym floor.

For the number on the back: keep it large, centered, and in a contrasting color. A player who cannot be identified by number gets overlooked by scouts and parents in the stands.

Placement consistency is what separates a program that looks like a real organization from one that looks like it was designed in a rush. Use the same placement rules for every item in the kit.

Standard placement guide:

• Tank top (front): Left-chest logo, 3 to 4 inches wide. Program name across the back above the number.
• Mesh shorts: Left-leg logo, small and clean. No text on the front.
• Warm-up hoodie or crewneck: Center chest logo, large program name across the back in all caps.
• Team hat: Embroidered logo centered on the crown.

If you are using a rectangular wordmark logo, the left chest works best. If you are using a crest or shield logo, centering it on the chest creates more impact.

Avoid placing graphics on sleeves, collar areas, or near the hem on practice gear. Those placements work for streetwear but look unprofessional on functional sports apparel.
