Youth Softball Travel and Tournament Weekend Apparel
- Tournament weekends run early mornings to late evenings across two or three days, which calls for layering pieces beyond the game jersey.
- A quarter-zip pullover or hoodie is the most-worn piece across a full tournament weekend.
- Joggers and sweatpants (adult sizing, fits most travel-ball-age kids) round out a cold-morning travel kit.
- No minimum order means a travel team can restock mid-season without reopening a whole print run.
The Tournament-Weekend Apparel Gap
Most softball apparel guides stop at the jersey and the practice tee. A full weekend tournament schedule exposes a gap: what does the team wear at 7 AM before the first game, and what do parents and players wear between games when the field is exposed and there is no shade. That gap is where a hoodie, quarter-zip, and joggers program earns more actual wear-time than the jersey itself.

A Note on Joggers and Pants Sizing
The joggers and sweatpants in the catalog print in adult sizing only. In practice, the smallest adult sizes fit most travel-ball-age softball players reasonably well, since travel ball skews toward the older end of youth (roughly ages 10 and up). For younger rec league teams, the Youth Hoodie and Youth Crewneck cover the cold-weather need without needing a matching jogger. We do not currently print a technical, piped softball game pant. Order those through your team's uniform supplier and use this program for the layers around them.
What a Travel Team Typically Stocks for a Weekend
- One hoodie per player, worn over travel clothes on Friday and over the jersey before Saturday's first game.
- One quarter-zip for coaches, professional-looking on the sideline across a full weekend.
- Hats for all-day sun exposure, a cheap add that gets worn every single game of the weekend.
- A parent version of the hoodie, which regularly outsells the player version since parents sit exposed in the stands for the same three days.

Start FreeFrequently Asked Questions
What is the single most-worn piece across a tournament weekend?
The Youth Hoodie, worn from the early morning first game through the between-game downtime and often on the ride home as well.
Do the joggers come in youth sizes?
No, joggers and sweatpants currently print in adult sizing only. The smallest adult sizes typically fit older travel-ball-age players. Younger rec players are usually better served by the youth hoodie and crewneck instead.
Can we restock mid-tournament-season if we run out of a size?
Yes. There is no minimum order, so a reorder for one player or one missing size ships the same way the original team order did.
Do you make actual softball game pants?
No. We print tees, hoodies, crewnecks, quarter-zips, and joggers, not the technical piped game-day uniform pant. Order that piece through your team uniform supplier.
