Before designing a youth or kids apparel shop, it helps to know exactly which products actually exist in youth sizes. Most of the 63-product catalog is adult sized. Seven pieces are cut for kids. Here is the full lineup, what each one is best for, and where the youth range typically starts and stops.

A Practical Starter Lineup

Most organizations do not need all seven pieces on day one. A working starter set covers three products:

  1. Youth Airlume cotton tee. The cheapest, most versatile piece and the one nearly every kid or program orders first.
  2. Youth hoodie. Highest perceived value, highest retail price, and the piece parents buy without hesitation for cold-weather events.
  3. Youth classic baseball hat. Low cost, high visibility, and it pairs with any design already printed on the tee.

Add the performance tee, long sleeve, crewneck, and mesh shorts as the program grows or as a specific season calls for them.

What Is Not Currently Available in Youth Sizes

Joggers, sweatpants, leggings, polos, quarter-zips, and the padded sports bra are adult sized only right now. If a program needs a joggers-and-hoodie combo for kids, the hoodie prints in youth and the joggers print in the smallest adult size, which usually fits older youth athletes (roughly ages 12 and up) reasonably well. Check the exact chart on the product page before ordering for a younger age group.

Setting Retail Prices on Youth Products

Vendors set their own retail price or profit target on every item. A common working range for youth pieces:

The default recommended profit across the catalog is $10 per item. Most programs charge more on the hoodie and less on the tee to keep the tee accessible for every family.
