Screen printed no-gi BJJ academy shirts are the default for tees, hoodies, and any design that covers more than a small chest area. Print handles color flexibility, photo detail, and large back designs in ways that embroidery cannot match. For the majority of academy apparel, print is the right answer. Reserve embroidery for structured pieces like hats and polos.

Print Methods Used in Academy Apparel

The two main print methods used across the academy shop:

You do not have to choose the method manually. The platform routes the print method based on the design and the garment. You upload your academy logo or design and the right print method is applied at fulfillment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a print setup fee?

No. Print setup is included in the per-piece VIP base price. There is no separate setup fee, and no minimum quantity. A single tee order prints with the same setup as a bulk order.

Can I print a multi-color or gradient design?

Yes. DTF transfer handles full-color, gradient, and photo-style designs cleanly. Upload your design as is and the right print method is applied at fulfillment.

How durable is print on academy shirts?

Screen print and DTF both hold up across many washes when garments are washed inside-out in cold water and air-dried or tumble-dried low. Most academy shirts retain their print integrity for years of regular wear.

Can I print front and back on the same tee?

Yes. Front and back print is supported on tees, hoodies, and most apparel. Upload both designs and assign placement during product setup. The Done-For-You VIP plan includes front and back mockups on every product as part of the monthly setup.
