Print Methods Used in Academy Apparel

The two main print methods used across the academy shop:

• Screen print. Ink pushed through a mesh stencil onto the fabric. Stands up to many washes, soft hand on lightweight cotton, slightly thicker hand on darker bases. The default for large solid-color designs.
• DTF (direct to film) transfer. A printed film applied to the fabric with heat. Holds fine detail and full-color photo-style designs in ways screen print cannot. Slightly different hand-feel but very durable across washes. The right call for multi-color logos and gradient designs.
