Indoor track field events have a different apparel demand than outdoor events. The indoor season runs December through March, in climate-controlled venues, on banked or flat 200m tracks. The events are slightly different (weight throw replaces hammer, no javelin or discus). Here is the indoor field events apparel guide.

Indoor venues run at 65 to 75F. Athletes do not need heavy outdoor hoodies and warmups. Lighter performance fabric works better for indoor practice and competition.
Indoor apparel set:
Weight throw is the indoor cousin of hammer. The implement is shorter (about 16 inches vs 4 feet) but heavier (35lb for men, 20lb for women at the NCAA level). The event is contested almost exclusively at the NCAA D1 college level in the US.
For NCAA D1 throws programs, weight throw is a key indoor season event. Athletes train it specifically December through February. Custom weight throw team apparel signals the small NCAA D1 community of weight throwers.
The same team shop that carries outdoor season apparel can carry indoor SKUs. Athletes pick the season-appropriate apparel at checkout. Most college throws teams run 4 to 6 indoor-season SKUs alongside 4 to 6 outdoor-season SKUs.

Start FreeSome states contest indoor track at the high school level, particularly in the Northeast. Most state federations do not. NCAA D1 and D2 contest indoor.
Hammer is a longer wire (about 4 feet) with a 16lb ball for men. Weight throw is a shorter wire (about 16 inches) with a 35lb ball for men. Different events, different techniques.
