The honest answer first: Bear Grips Pro Shops does not print custom adult competition leotards. Leotards are a cut and sew product with specialized fabrics, four way stretch lining, sewn in bra cups, and construction techniques that sit outside print on demand. What we do print is every other piece an adult gymnast wears: training tees, leggings, sports bras, shorts, tanks, warm up hoodies, and coach polos. Here is what fits and how programs use it.

Why leotards do not fit print on demand

Competition leotards require pattern cutting, four way stretch fabric construction, sewn in lining and bra cup options, and crystal or rhinestone embellishment in many cases. Print on demand operates on blank shirts and athletic apparel that already exist as finished garments. The garment shows up at the printer, gets the program logo printed on it, and ships. There is no garment construction step. Leotards demand that step, which makes them a different industry. The right vendor for competition leotards is a dedicated leotard manufacturer like GK Elite or Snowflake Designs.

When the program leotard order matters and when it doesnt

Competition leotards matter for a small subset of adult gymnastics: Masters and AAU adult competitive teams who travel to meets. The other 90 percent of adult gymnastics (recreational, drop in, open gym, tumbling skill blocks) does not require a leotard. Athletes train in leggings and sports bras or tank tops. That demand is fully serviced by print on demand apparel. Reserve the leotard order with a dedicated manufacturer for the small competitive piece of the program, and use Pro Shops for everything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order one custom adult leotard from your shop?

No. We do not produce leotards in any quantity. We make print on demand apparel: tees, tanks, hoodies, leggings, shorts, sports bras, hats, polos. For competition leotards work with GK Elite, Snowflake Designs, or another leotard manufacturer.

What do adult gymnasts wear if not a leotard?

Fitted leggings plus a sports bra or fitted tank covers most adult training. Shorts plus a performance tank work for conditioning and hot gyms.

Do you offer rhinestone or sequin work for performance pieces?

No. Our customization is printed graphic on the garment. Rhinestone and sequin embellishment sit with specialty performance apparel vendors.

Can I add program logo to leggings or sports bras?

Yes. Logo placement on leggings (thigh) and sports bras (chest panel) is standard. Same per piece print model as the tees.
